Well, i'm quite sure that everyone's been enjoying my new GF series. i appreciate all the comments and favs from everyone. while i had planned on posting them all one per day that stopped with the last one.

see, that was the day my grandfather passed away.

now, i also posted the news on my facebook page and got alot of great help from a lot of FB people and people i know in person. but now, lets talk about the artwork.

i took a break from it for myself. i wanted the healing process to start with such a sudden event happening and didn't think i could distract myself enough with my art and my RL job.

my grandfather's funeral was this past Wednesday (Oct. 14th). it was a great and very respectable coming together of all my family. i was honored when the family had decided that the grandsons (plus my cousin's husband) were to be pallbearers. again, another part of the healing process.

so, in the next few days, i'll be back at working some art and posting it here, finishing off both the GF (which means, "GirlFriends" for those curious) Series and Roller Derby Girls Series in the coming months, plus some commissions to finish as well.
