Starchild Freedom and the Galactic Guard...sounds great, huh? with a name like that i had to use it before it became a porno...
this is just a rough of a more detailed cover page i'll do later. i wanted to get the colors down and sketch out some characters too.
i admit i'm a fan of those retro sci-fi films and spoofs that people will see anywhere from bruce timm animations to barbarella. i've always like that style and here's my own foray into it!
this will be one of two new year's resolutions i'll be trying to keep to til the end of 09. the first being money related and the second is making a 10-page ashcan to assault...um, i mean give out to my friends and local comic book stores.
Starchild Freedom and the Galactic Guard and all likenesses (c) J Miller, LordSantiago
i could try to dig up my old Collins College (May you burn to the ground!@!>!>!!!!!!) After Effects animations if you want to stab your eyes out if you like...
This looks like it will be fun! I look forward to seeing it.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
